Earthlink/Netscape
Because of licensing restrictions, we cannot simply distribute a copy of Netscape to you. However, if you sign up for Earthlink as your Internet Service Provider (click here or on the headline above for details), a copy of Netscape 2.0 will be installed on your computer. Then, all you need to do is run NETSNOW.EXE in the root directory of this CD-ROM to change over to Netscape as your browser for this CD-ROM.
If you're browsing with Internet Explorer we have some bonus content for you,. There are sample pages, viewers, assistants, the VRML add-in, foreign language versions and more.
The samples won't work properly unless you are using the Windows 95 version of Internet Explorer 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0.
This section applies ONLY to Windows 95 users
It is better NOT to try to upgrade a browser from inside a browser, so:
- Print these instructions (File/Print inside this browser)
- Exit the browser
- To install Internet Explorer 2.0, you must run \IEXPLORE\MSIE20.EXE. From Windows 95 you may either:
- Select the Run command from the Start menu and type \IEXPLORE\MSIE20.EXE, making sure to include the drive letter for this CD-ROM. Then click on OK.
- or
- Double click on \IEXPLORE\MSIE20.EXE from a Windows Explorer window on this CD-ROM.
- To change over to Internet Explorer as your browser for this CD-ROM, you must run \IEXPNOW.EXE in the root directory of this CD-ROM. From Windows 95 you may either:

Internet Explorer 3.0
This section applies ONLY to Windows 95 users

- To install Internet Explorer 3.0, you must run \IEXPLORE.30\MSIE30M.EXE. From Windows 95 you may either:
- Select the Run command from the Start menu and type \IEXPLORE.30\MSIE30M.EXE, making sure to include the drive letter for this CD-ROM. Then click on OK.
- or
- Double click on \IEXPLORE.30\MSIE30M.EXE from a Windows Explorer window on this CD-ROM.
- To change over to Internet Explorer as your browser for this CD-ROM, you must run \IEXPNOW.EXE in the root directory of this CD-ROM. From Windows 95 you may either:

First you must install either Internet Explorer 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0
- To install Microsoft Network, you must run \MSN\MSN.EXE. From Windows 95 you may either:
- Select the Run command from the Start menu and type \MSN\MSN.EXE, making sure to include the drive letter for this CD-ROM. Then click on OK.
- or
- Double click on \MSN\MSN.EXE from a Windows Explorer window on this CD-ROM.
- Select the Run command from the Start menu and type SIGNUP (no drive letter). Then click on OK.
This will execute the procedure through which you join the Microsoft Network(. You will need to provide your address and billing information in order to complete this process.
Once you have registered as a Microsoft Network subscriber via the above steps you need only double-click the "The Microsoft Network" icon on your desktop to access msn and the Internet.
Internet Explorer 2.0 for Windows 3.1

- Double click on \IEXPLORE.31\SETUP.EXE from a File Manager panel pointing to this CD-ROM.
- To change over to Internet Explorer as your browser for this CD-ROM, you must run \IEXPNOW.EXE in the root directory of this CD-ROM. From Windows 3.1, you may either:
- Select File/Run from the program manager and type \IEXPNOW.EXE, making sure to include the drive letter for this CD-ROM. Then click on OK.

This installation will work as a local browser, but not for exploring the Internet.

Sprynet
Run \SPRY\SETUP.EXE on this CD-ROM to install Sprynet, which installs its own proprietary browser and walks you through the Internet Access signup process.
IBM Internet Connection Service/Netscape
Frustrated because you only have a local web browser? Unhappy with your
present Internet Services provider? Want to try Netscape?
Run \IBM\SETUP.EXE on this CD-ROM to install the IBM Internet Connection.
You gain access to the World Wide Web through IBM's own dial-up network
and you get a copy of Netscape to do it with! Then, all you need to do is run NETSNOW.EXE in the root directory of this CD-ROM to change over to Netscape as your browser for this CD-ROM.
